Yesterday I received my Arduino Uno R3 clone. Today, I programmed it to do a few basic tasks. The most notable thing is that I ran the Arduino Windows IDE (version 1.0.1) under Windows XPsp3 as a guest VM inside VirtualBox 4.1.8 under FreeBSD 8. And it worked!
I recently decided to start playing with Arduino embedded computers. On May 9th 2012 I purchased an Arduino Compatible UNO Rev3 Development Board from DX.com (DealExtreme). It arrived May 30th 2012. Here are my initial thoughts.
This post describes my brief experience with Petteri Aimonen‘s QuadPawn interpreter to run larger programs from the DSO Quad‘s 2MB USB drive. I’ve dabbled with compiling Pawn programs under both WinXP and FreeBSD/Wine.
